A dense calm has settled
at the center of my chest.
It's heavy in a comforting way,
like a lover's arm around your shoulder.
Knowing brought it here, a certainty
that I am right where I need to be.
It holds me in deep appreciation
for the journey thus far
and all that is yet to come.
